I would definitely recommend getting a good guide to show you round the Kremlin. It has a really rich history and a guide like Lena , who obviously knows her stuff, really helps make the place come alive. We spent about 2 hours looking round the Kremlin and cathedral square, Lena kept up a running commentary throughout the tour and was able to answer all our questions. It was great.

I was on a two day visit to Moscow and I managed to do a lot of sightseeing. Together with the guide Pavel we seemed to have covered the whole city. The first day it was a Volga car City tour. Pavel was very competent and filled his story with lots of interesting facts and funny details about some buildings, like Moscow University on Sparrow Hills. I think Moscow is the most beautiful city in the world. Now I can feel the history of the Russia. After I came back home, I recommend my friends to visit Moscow with Yappi Club.

I had enjoyed an Architectural tour in Moscow. It’s a digest version of architectural history of the city.
I saw Old Russian style, Baroque, Russian classicism, Eclecticism, Art Nouveau, Russia modern, Constructivism, Stalin’s Empire, Soviet style. It’s like flower market of architecture in Moscow.
For those who are interested in architecture of Moscow I recommend this tour.

Metro tour was pretty exotic. I could never imagine underground stations decorated with columns and statues. We took just one line and got off on several stations, but I’m sure there’s a lot more to see in metro. It’s a real museum.
